Oddly, Everyonce in awhile, I get asked on how to shave a pussy. I am guessing because of interest, people assume I have some secret knowledge. I don't.
However, a friend has recently discover a new method and I asked that she write it up to share with others. Oh, and she is bi. So she knows the pleasure of a smooth pussy from both points of view.
Thanks Jenny.

Jenny's Method
The basic idea is to use baby powder (cornstarch or talcum) to prep your skin before shaving rather than traditional foams or creams. The baby powder does reduce friction between the skin and the razor blade. It may not be wet and slippery but it still acts as the "lubricant" that allows the razor to cut hair but glide over skin. Just think of how soothed powderee skin feels and how you can slide a finger across it easily with little drag. Cornstarch, in my opinion, is better when it comes to providing that desired effect.
You may prep your pubic hair and hair follicles beforehand however you want. Some people moisten the hair to make it softer and easier to shave. Some also take the time to "open up the pores" with the steam from the shower or a warm washcloth. You may also exfoliate beforehand. Whatever you choose to do beforehand, just make sure to dry your skin thoroughly. If you do not get the skin as dry as possible, you will be scraping up caked up powder. In the words of a terrified Ross Geller, "It's making a paste!"
1. Trim hair if it is long. The razor should be able to reach the base of your pubic hair easily. I think 1/4 inch will suffice.
2. Get into whatever position is comfortable for you. Apply a generous amount of baby powder onto your pubic area. There really is no way for you to apply too much since the excess simply falls off. The goal is to absorb as much sweat and oil as possible and get your skin dry and smooth It is important that females spread the labia majora (the fleshy outer lips) and powder the crease between them and the labia minora (the pink inner lips).
3. Shave however you desire with a fresh razor. With the grain, against the grain... It is up to you. Shaving in short spurts rather than long drags is always better, in my opinion. Do not wet the razor at any point. Tap the razor to shake out the powder and hair. Reapply powder as needed.
The advantages of dry shaving with baby powder are numerous for me. First and foremost, it is a neater affair. You don't have to contend with wet, sticky foam or trying to wash away all the wet hair clinging to the tub (who hasn't been there?). You will end up with a dry pile of waste you can easily sweep away. Second, I find that it is easier to spot areas that I have missed and take care of them. Third, I am not a shaving klutz but not having wet, slippery tools on already wet, slippery skin improves safety and control. I have never had a mishap with dry shaving with baby powder. I get all these advantages on top of getting a close shave that stays smooth as long as, if not longer, than wet shaving.
As with all hair removal methods, dry shaving with baby powder may not work for you. I love it, I rave about it and so do many people. I hope there a few adventurous souls who will try this method and love it as much as I do. However, if you do end up hating it, please don't send Matthew any hate mail. Shaver beware!
I would also like to throw in a recommendation for the Noxema Bikini Shaver. It is a single blade razor that has an extra small head that is excellent for areas that are difficult to pull taut and shave with a conventional razor with a larger head. This shaver also has a plastic "comb" shielding the razor. It lifts pubic hair to make shaving more efficient and it makes it near nigh impossible to cut your skin with. It is sold in drugstores and the like along with other shaving products.
